Being able to read from both points of view created a nice depth to the story, which made things a little more believable. The story itself was good, mostly light-hearted, and exactly what I was looking for to decompress after a hard work week. The romance between Cassie and Erin had great chemistry and the smut was on point. In this case, I got exactly what I was looking for. I know the reviews for this book are a bit mixed, depending on where I am looking, but the way I see it, when I look for something smutty, I don’t expect to get a work of art. I thought the writing was decent and, overall, I enjoyed myself. By “right,” I mean both people are old enough to know what they are getting into. I really enjoy age gap romances when they are done right. Thankful the library had this one available because times are hard and books are expensive, folks. This book has been on my list for a little while since seeing it in one of the last deliveries I worked for my bookstore job and when one of my co-workers at the library recommended it to me, I took that as a sign to move it to the front of my TBR. Cassie was a bad decision Erin wanted to make again and again.
